Hi Bob,
we stole this discussion ... but anyway:
To determine if a product line or product line programming forum exists consider trying a well-formed Communities Boolean search based on some unique criteria of the issue you wish to ask
In my opinion you missed important thing: This web is for users (in a meaning "normal people") and not for "experts for queries and searching". If there is some obvious logic presented and using this logic the forum (or anything else) cannot be located, the solution is not to create complex queries, but to correct poor UX and bad structure. Ok ... in fact I will probably use some queries to make another try, but it's because I am developer, so searching for information is important part of my job.
The logic in this case is: There is Developers and Programming community available and it's split into MicroStation, ProjectWise, Geospatial and BDN subcommunities. Because there is no Architecture & Building Programming alternative, it does not exit ... regardless there may be some community elsewhere that can be used for this purpose.
... and it generates the question why under Developers and Programming are not communities for Building (or AECOsim | speedikon) and Plant? Maybe programming is not important for these products?
With regards,
Jan
