Hi Jan,

The most effective pattern for searching then posting any Bentley API programming issues is:

1. Start at the Bentley Communities - Developer and Programming (portal)
2. Determine if an existing "product line programming" area of interest is listed.

1. 1. For MicroStation, For ProjectWise,for Geospatial, or
   2. Bentley Developer Network (requires BDN access and is for posting non-technical BDN "program" related questions)
   3. Bentley Communities - Developer and Programming > "General Questions" (established for "general" programming questions where a "product line" or "product line programming forum" may not currently exist)

To determine if a product line or product line programming forum exists consider trying a well-formed Communities Boolean search based on some unique criteria of the issue you wish to ask:  e.g. For example in the top of the Community page, search for: (triforma OR AECOsim) AND VBA; where looking through a few of the top post results (right hand side hyperlinks) are likely to point to the appropriate product line forum to post questions to. (e.g. AECOsim | speedikon).  If you are not able to determine where to post, then it is certainly appropriate to post questions to: Bentley Communities - Developer and Programming > "General Questions"
