Agree for 100% :-) I guess I have used a fraction of EC features so far, but I thought about some features you mentioned in your answer (calculated properties, schema references...) at least to test them and to play with them a bit to receive hands-on experience how it works and how they can be used.

I mentioned this option strictly for a learning purpose. Even withou your information (thanks for it!) I did not think about to edit Item Type definition in BCE and import it back to a file.
