I'm curious if it is possible to write a VBA program that uses the OpenDesignFileForProgram method to process a list of DGN files to quickly and easily make view attribute changes. For example, say I have 100 files, and each DGN only has one model called "Default". The Default model has 25 levels numbered 1-25. I would like for the program to turn "off" levels 10-15 in View1. By "off" I mean that if any element is found on levels 10-15, it would not be displayed in View1.
I have tried something similar in the past, but I have not had success with the changes to the display state of levels 10-15 taking "hold" (i.e., staying "off") after the program processes and ends. Hence, my suspicion is that the OpenDesignFileForProgram method cannot be used for View Attribute changes. Nevertheless, perhaps I am missing something, or someone much smarter than me has already figured this out and would be kind enough to point me in the correct direction.
