I have been attempting to create Ribbon Workflows with varied success. I would create workflows and add elements, only to have them become un-editable if I exited the file and tried to modify them at a later date. It was finally pointed to me that one cannot simply open a .dgnlib from the MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST. You open Custom Tools and Tasks dialog and use the File drop-down to select the file you ultimately need to edit. That works - mostly...
I have a .dgnlib that is "close" to what I want to start with. On reading the Help files, I decided to try the RIBBON CUSTOMIZATIONS EXPORTECXML keyin. When I look at the contents of that XML file, I am surprised to see all kinds of workflows, tab, groups, etc, that I though I deleted (they are not showing in the Customize Ribbon dialog box). Why is that? If you remove something from the Ribbon, does it not get deleted from the .dgnlib? If not, how does one get rid of them? They seem to remain under Components.
The Customize Ribbon interface seems very fragile, and easy to break (at least for me).
