Thanks a lot!
1. Please always use Syntaxhighlighter tool--would you please tell me how? Sorry I don't know how yet.
2. Use ElementScanCriteria properly. --I'm sorry I used these codes to scan other element also, it is just a prototype, once I finished the codes, I will use .IncludeType msdElementTypeCellHeader as you suggested.
3. Does For Each construction works? -- Not sure what's your mean clearly. The ref files are not fixed in different drawings, so must scan all ref files including nested files. Is it OK?
4. VBA is not good tool for such operation-- Sorry , I know VBA only right now. I know it is not the best, but it is my only way.
5. Why do you assume the fence placement is manual operation--Sorry misunderstanding again, I mean I don't know the range of callout, no coordinates to place fence.
6. I will study the artical you mentioned. Maybe I can find answer there.
Thanks again!
