Zhen,
Just to mention, California DOT has not stopped using MicroStation as they remain one of our larger clients. Their decision to use Autocad has not gone well and MicroStation is still the better platform.
I am not sure what the Windows 98 SDK has to do with anything. Who really wants to be using Windows 98? It does not even support 64 bit. How is Connect going to support windows 98 and still be 64 bit?
If you keep supporting old technology, it makes future progress much slower. It does not make sense to do this, especially when the functionality offered is much better than what is offered in the old technology..
What you are asking is equivalent to asking vehicles manufacturers to keep cassette players in the dash because you still want to use a cassette.
The issue that I have been having with all of your questions is that you are making it very difficult for us to understand what you are asking. On top of that, you rarely post any relevant code so we need to try and decipher what you are doing.. You should not get mad at the people trying to help you, especially since it is due to the cryptic replies.
